About CT Clean Energy Communities

Northeast Clean Power and Connecticut Clean Energy Communities are working together to help Connecticut protect and preserve our natural resources.

The Connecticut Clean Energy Communities Program, managed by the Clean Energy Finance and Investment Authority (CEFIA), is one of the most successful clean energy campaigns in the country thanks to the municipal governments, businesses, organizations and residents who participate. Under this program, Connecticut towns and cities earn recognition for supporting clean, renewable energy and are eligible to receive free clean energy systems (like wind turbines or solar panels) to power your community.

To date, more than 100 Connecticut communities participate and make a difference every day.
